Aktuel forskning

I am currently working as a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow at the LANCHART Centre at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. I am interested in questions dealing with language variation and change, and more particularly in the interaction of the social and linguistic variables determining the use of language. In my two-year project — AUX-Variation: a corpus based study of auxiliary variation in Danish — I combine corpus linguistic and variationist sociolinguistic approaches with statistical analysis in order to further develop the idea of variation’s multifactorial complexity. The research is based on naturally occurring spoken language data, a large spoken language corpus developed at the LANCHART Centre, which enables both real and apparent time studies.

This research has received funding from the European Union’s Seventh Framework Programme, Marie Skłodowska-Curie IEF grant no 630059.
