    Short biography

    Jens Erik Mogensen is Associate Professor at the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. His research focuses on diachronic and synchronic German linguistics and lexicography. Recently, he has also taken up a cross-disciplinary research interest in the history of European occultism and popular culture.

    From 2011 to 2021, he was Associate Dean for Education at the Faculty of Humanities. Previous to this position, he headed the Department of English, Germanic and Romance Studies, where he was also chairman of the board and co-founder of the Centre for Internationalization and Parallel Language, CIP.

    - Since 2019, he has been a board member of Oslo Metropolitan University, Norway.
