Except for their most likely identification as IE sḱe/o-verbs, to this day not much
is known about the Lycian s-verbs. Aim of the present paper is to outline an analysis of the phonetic and morphological structure of the s-verbs that could find an explanation within the Anatolian and Lycian accentual system. In particular, a hypothesis for the unexplained vocalism of the nominal forms belonging to s-verbs will be put forward.
