Captivating lectures honoured at the Spring Celebration

Professor Jan Rosiek received the Faculty of Humanities' Teaching Award 2015 at the Spring Celebration on 29 May 2015.

The prize was bestowed in view of a well-motivated and enthusiastic recommendation from Danish students at the department. They praised Jan Rosiek's committed, inspiring end exciting - even captivating - teaching. Without the use of PowerPoint or other electronic teaching devices his lectures draw a large attendance. He invites questions and critical independent reflection and the classes thereby tak on a dynamic dimension. The students feel that he has given them a welcoming and "fantastic start at the University of Copenhagen" and that he has inspired several future literary researchers' enthusiasm for their studies.
