I'm currently working on a Ph.d. project researching right-wing terror manifestos published in relation to mass shootings. The project focuses in particular on the use of nature, climate and environmental issues in the manifestos. The project seeks to activate genre theory and other literary reading strategies to better understand this particular type of texts. 

The project seeks to:

• Use genre theory to better understand the relation between the manifestos and their ideological heritage. 
• Investigate the relation between the texts and the violent actions commited by their author.
• Investigate the role of nature, climate, and environment in the texts, in other words the political ecology of the far right.
