The Nordic collection
Reference collection, noborrowing
The collection has around 35,000 books and subscribes to approx. 70 journals.
The collection is situated on the 2nd and 3rd floors of the Library.
The collection includes:
Books and journals on Danish and the other Nordic countries’ languages, literature and media.
Catalogues
Via the REX system you can choose to browse the local collection alone. If not, you will be browsing all of the Royal Library’s collection of printed and electronic books and journals. To search articles and journals, you can use academic bibliographies and the Libguide for Nordic Studies.
Systematics
The collection’s publications are divided into the following main groups:
Danish, Nordic, Old Nordic, Swedish, Norwegian, Icelandic and Faroese.
The main groups are ordered by:
- Bibliography. Mixed texts
- Linguistics
- Literature science. Mass communication. Movies. Other supporting sciences
- Text collections. Individual authors
