Current research
My primary research topics are reading and spelling in Danish - but I am also interested in vocabulary development, Danish phonetics and orthography, language testing, and other linguistic topics.
Currently I am involved in several projects. Previous projects include Self-teaching of new vocabulary: Enhancing children's word learning during independent reading (2015-2019) and Development of Speed in Reading (2009-2013).
Teaching
I teach and supervise students at BA, MA and PhD levels. Main topics: reading, spelling, vocabulary development, Dansih phonetics and orthography, language testing. Students with an interest in doing small-scale empirical studies are especially welcome!
