Visit from Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland
BGB was visited by Mikolaj Sobkowiak, researcher and Danish teacher at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Poland. Mikolaj has found a treasure in his office, as there were 4 boxes of exam assignments dating all the way back to 1985. These assignments are going to be the base of an examination of Danish as a second language produced by Poles.
Mikolaj was in Copenhagen to present his project, and we explored the possibilities for a cooperation between BGB and the Polish research project.
It is very popular to study Danish in Poland. Because it is a small study programme it is almost as hard to qualify for the Danish study programme as to qualify for law school in Poland according to Mikolaj. In Poland the interest in Denmark is great, and we have a great interest in this exciting research project – we cannot wait to see what the cooperation between Mikolaj and BGB can bring in the future.
